Bridgeview Estates, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Twin Falls run by Life Care Centers of America, recently earned a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
The CMS ratings system is designed to assist the public in choosing care for their loved ones. It calculates the ratings based on results of health inspections, staffing and quality measures (including pain management, pressure ulcers, weight loss and falls).
“When it was announced, there was a collective shout for joy from the entire staff,” said Darin Dransfield, executive director. “High fives and congratulatory back slaps were the order of the day.”
The rating officially posted on the CMS website on July 26, 2017.
“We achieved this by our commitment to the mission and vision of Life Care to become the premier provider and the facility of choice,” said Dransfield. “We foster a culture at Bridgeview in which residents, associates and the community are provided with the best customer experience available. It is our belief that this culture creates an environment that retains associates. Our current staffing retention has been a big part of the increase in our star rating.”
